Camunda's State of Agentic Orchestration 2026, from 1,150 IT leaders, describes organizations stuck in pilot phase despite widespread experimentation, unable to operationalize at any real scale. McKinsey's analysis reinforces the same picture: most organizations "remain in experimentation mode, struggling to scale beyond tightly defined pilots without addressing deeper operating-model and data issues."
